Sport Science gets stronger in second season

By most standards, being nominated for more Sports Emmy Awards than any other sports show, except HBO's “Inside the NFL,” is a great accomplishment.

 

However, even more impressive is how Sport Science has made science fun and easily accessible. 

Athletic banquet honors successful student-athletes

Wayne State University’s St. Andrews Hall was full of sportsmanship and positive energy last Thursday. The WSU Athletic Department hosted a Student Athlete Academic Recognition Banquet for all athletes who worked hard during their regular season and achieved good term grade point average.

Event-filled day showcases teams

The Wayne State Athletic Department will host an event, known as Spring Festival, Saturday, April 18. The event will take an entire day, and feature equipment sales and several sports competitions.
