SECOND TIME AROUND Joe Juszczyk tees off on the 18th hole during the third round of the 2009 Division II NCAA Championships at Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine, Wash. Juszczyk improved 44 positions on his 2008 performance at the same event, finishing in a tie for 33rd.

Wayne State men's golf maintained its 13th-place status in the fourth-and-final round of the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship.
At Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine, Wash., the Warriors -- who were also in 13th place after the first round -- ended their first appearance in the championship tournament with a combined score of 1,217. Champion California State University-San Bernardino shot an 1,179.
Senior Steve Cuzzort, who was in second place headed into the final day, shot a six-over 77 to finish in a tie for fifth place.
Gavin Smith (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) defeated Kelbi Lee (Ferris State) on the first playoff hole to claim the individual title.
