In the latest Super Regional Three rankings released on Nov. 3, Wayne State has jumped up two spots from last week and is now in seventh place heading into the final week of the regular season.

Three teams (Minnesota State-Mankato, Wayne State (Neb.) and Wayne State (Mich.) all sit at 8-2 overall. If one of these teams is to lose on Nov. 8, it will make the final ranking selection an easy one. But if neither falter (or if more than one shall fall), it will set up an interesting regional and national committee meeting next Monday. The top 6 teams make the playoffs, with the top two garnering first-round byes.

The Warriors host top-ranked Grand Valley State on Nov. 8 at noon.

Weekly awards: Running back Joique Bell was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week for Nov. 3. The junior running back rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns in WSU' s 42-21 win over Northwood.
