In the latest Super Regional Three ranking released Monday, Wayne State moved up into ninth place.
Last week, the Warriors made their debut in the rankings at tenth.
The GLIAC has five teams in the top 10: Grand Valley State (1), Ashland (4), Michigan Tech (7), WSU (9) and Ferris State (10).
The top six teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the playoffs.
Wayne State heads to Midland on Nov. 1 to take on Northwood.
