After an hour of listening to the excruciating, painful “White Van Music” from Jake One, I tried concentrating on the goodness of it. Sadly, I didn’t find anything.

There was no meaning to the CD. I felt that someone just threw noisy sounds together after being bored all their lives.

I am normally very open minded to different types of music, but I could not take the sound of it anymore. I would rather mix hard rock, metal and jazz together and jam to it than listen to this CD’s messy compilation of hip-hop and soul.

I hope that Jake One will meet someone who actually has a good ear for music and will come up with something better.

I am not trying to discourage anyone from listening to this horrible, waste-of-talent piece of art. If anyone can honestly listen to it and love it, more power to them.
