Nearly a week after the Forest Arms fire, residents and businesses of the apartments are finding themselves in dire financial straits. Some are left with few or damaged possessions while all seem to be dealing with feelings of shock and despair.
To lend support to these victims, Atwater Block Brewery will be hosting a benefit party on Friday, Feb. 15. With a suggested minimum $5 donation, the brewery will be swarming with treats. Featured performers of the evening include Los Minstrels del Diablo, A Stowaway, DJs Milieau, dirty D, Cirque, JOHNb and the People's Records DJs. Also on the bill is entertainment from Tim TV and belly dancing by Chantal.
Atwater is home to some of the finest award-winning brews in the city. With a full-scale brewery in house, guests can enjoy smooth and light ales to dark and devilishly delicious lagers (check out the Voodoo Vator).
